Rocky Mount Prep Counseling Department

Welcome,
The start of your high school career can be an exciting and new adventure. Finding the right path and being successful  is an important step during  high school and after graduation.  It is important to make good grades, take the right classes, and being involved in your community.
There are many opportunities for you take advantage of such as college, universities, military, or work-force.  Remember don't limit yourself. A four year university is a great way for you to further your education and experience life away from home.  A two year college is a great way to develop specific training or certifications in a program. Whatever choice you make, plan for success in high school . Success in high school will allow you to better evaluate your options after graduation.  There are many resources available to help you get started and navigate the pathway of academic, career, personal or social choices to prepare for life after graduation.
Students can request an appointment during the school day to review credits or plan for the future. I am also available for individual planning with parents and students. Please email or call me if you have questions.
